A couple days ago I put in a maintenance request for a slow kitchen faucet in the afternoon. The next morning the maintenance man was knocking on my door, and it was fixing by 10am. Having a good fulltime Staff on premises here is such a huge bonus to an already great building. Thank You!

Look I won't lie I have the taste for the finer things in life. Unfortunately, I have a Busch beer income and that's TOTALLY fine. Old City Hall Apartments meets my lucellean taste while taking only a few feathers from my wallet. My only complaint is for a larger hot water heater because I get all bubbly with bath time and the water gets cold before my fingers ever get wrinkled. Other than that everything from Museums, Theater, restaurant galore and more are all within a block. Neighbors are quiet and if it weren't the enticing aromas of their cooking, I'd hardly notice I had neighbors. Heads, I'm about to invite myself to someone's dinner, for real. New appliances, hardwood floors, walk-in closet, and huge scenic windows. I'm Ken living in Barbie's dream apartment. Anyways, I'm clearly happy and a proud promoter of Old City Hall Apartments. P.S Angela is the coolest damn apartment manager ever. Maybe I get a discount on rent for that last comment? Lol still meant it. Oh I need to change my vehicle info I got a new man truck. Thanks

Maintenance staff at Old City Hall are very responsive, both during and after regular business hours. My window was stuck open (the floor to ceiling windows are amazing but sometimes a bit tricky) and the maintenance staff member arrived quickly and when the issue was not easily resolved, came back the next day with an associate, at which time they fixed it. They were pleasant and professional throughout.

I am a brand new resident at Old City Hall. I selected the location due to the historic nature of the building & the architecture. I could not be happier after my move in. The large windows provide an abundance of natural light. I was lucky to be able to get an apartment with a huge walk-in closet. I definitely made the right move.

I’ve been living here for five months now and can say that I have never lived in a better place (and I have moved around a lot). Old City Hall has impressed me with their timely responses to repairs and requests, friendly community, amenities, and pet policy. The building offers an old timey charm while the apartments are updated and simply beautiful. As one of the few places in the city that allows small dogs, I lucked out with the location as it is right next to where I work. It’s also close to many amenities, so I find myself using my car just 1-2/week. I never had to worry about package deliveries being stolen, noisy neighbors, or some of the other major faults I’ve had living in historic buildings in the past. The building is very clean and well-maintained. The Community Manager, Angela, is fantastic. She’s so helpful and gets things done. I highly recommend Old City Hall to anyone but especially pet owners.

Great amenities such as pet friendly, generous closets, storage locker available, washer and dryer in apartment, high ceilings, beautiful downtown, and awesome public transportation. Great place to call home.

Lived at Old City Hall for over a year and recently moved out to change cities for work. The experience from beginning to end was excellent. The property is very well managed. The common areas are always very clean and well kept. Angela is an excellent property manager she consistently makes life easier and it a warm welcoming place to live. Building has many professional people living in it and does not have any noise issues that I noticed since the walls are very thick. The building, as the name suggests is a historic old city hall, and it is beautiful. Proximity to the State Capitol is a major benefit. Very convenient to walk to 2nd St restaurants and the rest of downtown. The location is a very quite and nice part of the city. Highly recommend.

After 5 years at old city hall I am moving onto the next adventure in my life in another part of the country. My stay at OCH was superb. Quiet, clean, secure living conditions in downtown harrisburg! Friendly staff is always ready with a smile to meet your expectations. Trying to find similar accommodations anywhere else isn’t happening and I have to “settle” for less. Great location, convenient and safe. It’s all good.

I was a resident for only 8 months due to a job transfer to Harrisburg. Angela Larison, the manager, was gracious, helpful and professional in getting me into a unit on short notice. She made the process easy for me at a very stressful time. The unit was inexpensive, but clean and cozy for me as I transitioned into a new job in a new city. Service and parking was excellent. The appliances were like new and the systems (heating, plumbing, electric, AC) were very good for an older building. There was plenty of free space and the building was charming and historic. Parking was very convenient. When I had to terminate the lease early, Angela was very understanding and accommodating and I appreciate that. All in all, a great living experience.

My girlfriend and I have been living in the Old City Hall Apartments for nearly 9 months now, and we have absolutely loved our time here. If you work in Harrisburg , and particularly the Capitol Complex area, you cannot find a more ideal home than Old City Hall. While I have always been impressed by the amenities and quality of the apartments and common areas, what I find to be most impressive is how Angela, the Community Manager, and the wonderful Maintenance team and other Staff members strive to continue improving our home and community in so many ways. For example, in our relatively short time here, the entire building's interior has received a substantial makeover; new floors, painted walls and columns, and even a new common area and exercise facility undergoing construction currently. Old City Hall's environment is a welcoming, friendly, and professional one. With a multitude of networking events and many opportunities to socialize and interact with other residents, you truly feel part of an active community. I would highly recommend the Old City Hall Apartments to any person looking to relocate to Downtown Harrisburg, particularly if you work in close proximity to the Capitol. It is the embodiment of a welcoming and professional community.
